Chicago 2015 - Cast List
Winning several Tony Awards, this outstanding review of the work of Bob Fosse clearly demonstrates the unique styles of jazz and tap he incorporated into all of his works on stage and screen. Interestingly, Bob Fosse's style was developed in part due to difficulties he experienced with traditional jazz and ballet dancing, and a lack of formalized training in his early years in ballet.
Some of Bob Fosse's choreographic trademarks include isolations, turned in positions, unusual uses of hands, arms, heads and feet (highlighted through his use of hats, canes, and gloves), syncopation/musicality, and a distinctive style of tap/jazz choreography that has become known worldwide as "Fosse".
